Labor Candidate for Lane Cove Andrew Zbik welcomes the announcement by NSW Labor Leader Michael Daley MP and NSW Shadow Minister for Planning Tania Mihailuk MP that a NSW Labor Government would immediately scrap all remaining Planned Precincts.

This would include the contentious St Leonards and Crows Nest Planned Precinct that is being rushed by the NSW Liberal Government against the wishes of the local community that covers the Lane Cove, North Sydney and Willoughby Local Government Areas (refer to the St Leonards and Crows Nest Draft 2036 Plan). 

At tonight's Ordinary Council Meeting (Monday 20th November) I successfully moved a motion calling on Lane Cove Council to work with neighbouring Councils to campaign the State Government to complete the missing link in the segregated cycleway from Naremburn to the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
