NSW Labor has called out the Berejiklian Government’s claim that NSW citizens already held a referendum on stadiums four years ago and in particular on the controversial demolition and rebuild of Allianz Stadium.

DALEY’S FAIR FARES POLICY – FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR SCHOOL KIDS IN LANE COVE TO EASE THE COST OF LIVING
School children will be able to enjoy free travel on public transport under a Daley Labor State Government that is focused on putting the family budget first.
Labor’s Fair Fares policy will forego this revenue to abolish all charges for children under 16 years of age or while they remain at school.Read more
On Tuesday night, Labor Candidate Andrew Zbik attended the Lane Cove Planning Alliance forum at the Lane Cove Community Hub to discuss the St Leonards South and Crows Nest development projects. Lane Cove Mayor Pam Palmer, Greens spokesperson for Planning David Shoebridge and the Member for Lane Cove and NSW Minister for Housing and Planning Anthony Roberts MP were also in attendance.
The packed room of passionate and well-informed locals had many questions, particularly for Mr Roberts.
During his speech, Mr Zbik asked Mr Roberts to grant a moratorium on planning proposals that has been previously requested by the Lane Cove Council. The purpose of a moratorium is to allow the St Leonards and Crows Nest Draft 2036 Plan to be finalised and confirm what infrastructure will be provided before any further rezonings and substantial residential developments are commenced.Read more

In 2017, Anthony Roberts and the NSW Liberal State Government were trying to force the amalgamation of Sydney’s local Councils.
The Local Councils, with the strong support of the community, fought against the planned amalgamations. Councils and residents won but at significant cost.
Between Lane Cove and Hunters Hill Councils almost $813,000.00 was spent in legal fees.Read more
