LABOR TO DELIVER NEW BUS SERVICE FOR COMMUTERS IN EAST RYDE
Shadow Minister for Transport Jodi McKay MP has today joined Mayor of Ryde Jerome Laxale, Councillor Penny Pedersen and Labor Candidate for Lane Cove - Andrew Zbik to announce that a Labor government will deliver a new public bus service for Ryde linking East Ryde, Boronia Park, Top Ryde and North Ryde station.

School children will be able to enjoy free travel on public transport under a Daley Labor State Government that is focused on putting the family budget first.
Labor’s Fair Fares policy will forego this revenue to abolish all charges for children under 16 years of age or while they remain at school.

NSW Shadow Minister for Transport Jodi McKay visited the Lane Cove bus interchange with Lane Cove Labor this morning to observe the bus queues local residents are forced to endure each and every day.
This is the second time this year the Shadow Minister has visited Lane Cove to put pressure on the Liberal member for Lane Cove to address overcrowding.

Lane Cove Labor have been running a campaign to improve the bus service in and out of the area.
