Lane Cove Labor and Councillor Andrew Zbik want to know what the community thinks of plans to rezone part of St Leonards South.
A community meeting will be held on Friday, 9th March, at 3.30pm, at Newland Park (corner of Canberra Ave and Duntroon Ave, St Leonards).
Lane Cove Labor and Clr Zbik are holding the meeting to discuss the plans to rezone St Leonards South from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential and to increase permissible building heights.
Shadow Minister for Planning and Infrastructure Michael Daley will be there to meet and listen to residents, and to answer their questions.
As a councillor for Lane Cove, Andrew Zbik has read hundreds of submissions from the community. He says “Every submission that I have read from local residents has raised concerns about a lack of infrastructure provision to cope with an additional 2,400 units in such a small area.”
It is clear that the community is worried about the planned development.
Please join us and share your thoughts and concerns.
All are welcome.
