On Tuesday night (August 29, 2017) at the Lane Cove Community Hub, Lane Cove Labor celebrated the launch of their 2017 Local Council Election Campaign.
The event highlight was a talk by NSW Labor Deputy Leader and Shadow Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, Michael Daley MP.
Daley shared NSW Labor’s plan for more efficient and equitable urban development. This was discussed particularly in relation to Lane Cove and surrounding suburbs.
After speaking, Daley answered questions from a well-informed and eager audience.
Andrew Zbik, Labor Candidate for West Ward, and David Roenfeldt, Candidate for Central Ward, shared their hopes for the area.
They recounted some of the encouraging feedback they’ve received from local residents.
Residents have consistently told Lane Cove Labor that after so many years under a majority Liberal-led Council, they are ready for change.
Lane Cove Labor is the change that Lane Cove needs!
Lane Cove Labor has begun it’s campaign with enthusiasm and looks forward to further engagement with the Lane Cove community.
