PUBLIC MEETING WITH NSW SHADOW MINISTER FOR EDUCATION JIHAD DIB MP

Andrew Zbik with Penny Pedersen, Labor Councillors for Lane Cove and Ryde Councils respectively, have invited NSW Shadow Minister for Education Jihad Dib MP to the lower North Shore to discuss education.
A community meeting will be held on Wednesday, 9th of May at 7:30pm at the Gladesville Bowling & Sports Club “The Gladesville Sporties”, 181A Ryde Road, Gladesville, NSW.
With thousands of new apartments being built, the population of the North Shore is increasing dramatically but are local schools ready for the influx of new students?
Many residents are concerned that state funding to public schools is insufficient; that schools are not being adequately resourced and, in some cases, that schools are physically too small to handle growing student numbers.
Shadow Minister for Education Jihad Dib MP will be available to meet with residents, listen to their concerns, and answer any questions.
Penny Pedersen says "Living amongst the current development boom, I think parents want to know that the class sizes will be optimal and that valuable outdoor playgrounds aren't covered in aging, poorly insulated, demountables”
Andrew Zbik says “Jihad Dib would have be one of the most experienced Politicians to have ever been Shadow Education Minister. ”
This will be a great opportunity for residents to share their concerns and priorities for children’s education in Lane Cove with the future Minister for Education, Jihad Dib MP.
Everyone is welcome.
